Transit of Venus

Today at 11:15am Mrs K handed out Solar viewers so we could look at the sun. We went outside, looked down at the ground to put them in front of our eyes then looked up. It looked so amazing. I could hardly believe my eyes. It only happens every 105 years so I will only see it once. You can also use the Solar Viewers on November the 14th for the eclipse.

After lunch at 1:30pm we went back out to have another look. It had moved away from the middle. It had moved clockwise and I thought it would go anticlockwise. It was still amazing because it was the same colour. I can’t wait to look at it again because it looks so cool and the colour of it makes me feel tingly inside.
